CSAR SYSTEM
Shark Marine Technologies Inc., with offices in both the United States and Canada, is pleased to have been selected as one of the companies to provide the US Air Force with their requested Guardian Angel Sonar System. The system consisting of a sidescan sonar, scanning sonar and diver held sonar is designed to cover all avenues of underwater search and rescue. Shark Marine has based their system around the modular design of their unique Navigator, diver held sonar product. The versatility of this device allows the user to select the sonar head and other peripherals which best suits the task at hand. The Navigators underwater computer is capable of operating all of these peripherals at a diving depth of 300 feet.
Complimenting the Navigator is a multi-frequency, dual channel sidescan sonar, designed for rapid deployment, and a tripod mounted scanning sonar for monitoring the underwater activities of the dive team. All of these units will be operated though a single all-encompassing program on the topside rugged computer console. This user friendly system, packaged in an easily moveable assortment of rugged cases, has been specifically designed for quick and easy deployment from a minimum size operating platform. Delivery of the first 2 units is set for December 2008. Shark Marine Technologies Inc., has been building and providing quality underwater products since 1984.
