UNDERWATER
PIPE AND CABLE TRACKER with DEPTH MEASUREMENT
The
UTDM is designed to operate mounted to ROVs, towed, or by divers. The
UTDM not only tracks pipes and cables, it can measure the depth of
cover. The transmitter injects a signal into the item to track,
and the receiver tracks only this item, great where there are multiple
pipes or cables. The UTDM saves considerable time and money over
physical proding. The UTDM can also be intergraded with position
systems to provide a true 3D survey of both bottom and pipelines or
cables. |

FX-3
FERRO-MAGNETIC METAL DETECTOR The Fisher FX-3 Ferro Probe senses fluctuations in the earth’s magnetic
field caused by buried survey markers, pipes, well casings, valves, iron relics,
septic tanks and other ferromagnetic (iron or steel) objects. Because it’s a
differential-induction magnetometer, the FX-3 locates buried iron objects far
beyond the reach of ordinary (search-coil-type) metal detectors. Like other Fisher detectors, the FX-3 is easy to operate just turn it on and
go. It weighs just 2 1/2 lbs. (1.14 kg) and features motion detection (the tube
probe mrust be moving to detect a target). The FX-3 is extremely sensitive to iron with a large surface area, highly
magnetized objects and long objects buried vertically. Large or small, if it’s
ferrous, the FX-3 is designed to find it. In addition to its industrial uses, the FX-3 can be used by
archeologists and treasure hunters to find iron relics and other buried ferrous artifacts. |

TW-6 PIPE AND CABLE LOCATOR The Model TW-6
"Two-Box" metal detector finds underground pipes, cables,
manhole covers, vaults, valve boxes and other metallic objects. Like
earlier models, the TW-6 is used primarily by water departments,
telephone companies, power companies, gas companies and petroleum
pipeline companies when making repairs and rearranging lines. The TW-6
shows where to dig, as well as where NOT to dig, an important
consideration when working near gas lines. To increase the instrument’s
sensitivity, Fisher engineers removed all unnecessary metallic parts on
the TW-6, replacing them with durable ABS molded plastic. Newly designed
coil windings, completely upgraded electronics and nonmetallic parts
have boosted the tracing distance of the TW-6 by 50-100 percent. With
the TW-6 longer tracing distances, which used to require expensive
high-powered fault locator/tracers, can now be accomplished
economically. In the Fisher tradition, the TW-6 is affordable, tough,
and simple to use while providing maximum performance. A two year
limited warranty comes standard with the unit. |

M-101 REBAR LOCATOR & METAL PROBE
The Fisher M-101 metal
detector was designed specially for finding reinforcing bars and other
metal objects embedded in concrete, conduits, PK nails, wiring, wall
studs and other metallic objects. Users may expect accuracy to 1/4"
of the center line of the rebar. Turn the instrument on and only the
penetration control need be adjusted for most operations, allowing
maximum penetration depth for metals. A preset circuit eliminates ground
effects caused by highly mineralized materials and false signals due to
loop movement. The M-101 also can effectively locate small metal items
carried on or within a person and is substantially more sensitive than
the average low cost metal detectors used at airports, so that a given
metal item can be found at a greater distance from the search loop
itself. Searches in water may be up to the control box. The search loop
and cord are waterproof. Backed by Fishers industrial 2 year warranty. |

XLT-16 LIQUID
& GAS LEAK DETECTOR The XLT-16 is a liquid and gas leak detector that finds leaks in four easy steps: by electronically amplifying leak sounds, selectively filtering out noise, isolating the leak sound and leading the operator to the source of the leak. For leaks beneath asphalt or concrete slab, the “Big Foot” probe is used. For leaks under open ground, the XLT-16 Cylinder Probe with penetrating sound rod senses directly above a
pipeline or can make direct contact with the pipe or fittings and detect distinct leak sounds. When a liquid system is purged with air, the XLT- 16 senses the sputtering sounds of air and water escaping from the leak. When gas leaks are the problem, the XLT-16 Ultrasonic Probe is an accessory that senses high frequency leak sounds above the normal hearing range and makes them audible for the operator. Fisher quality & performance backed by a 2 year warranty. |
