Revolutionary Handheld Sonar

Shark Marine is pleased to announce the
NAVIGATOR, an underwater sonar unit operated by a diver. The Navigator weighs
only 2.5 lbs in water, including the front mounted scanning sonar. The sonar
data is displayed on a 5" LCD screen and controlled by the diver through Windows
based sonar software.
The NAVIGATOR gives a real-time sonar image of the diver’s surroundings, and a
means to log all underwater activity. Options include GPS Receiver, Digital
Camera, APS Receiver, Depth Sensor, Compass, Magnetometer and Cable Tracker. The
NAVIGATOR will be used in Mine Countermeasures, Underwater Archaeology, Search
and Recovery, and Diver Guidance and Surveillance.

New Underwater Hand Held Ferrous Metal Locator
----------------------------------------------------------
This
Underwater unit is comprised of 2 magnetometers, so that surrounding
fields can be nulled out, thus allowing for detection near other ferrous
sources. This unit is extremely useful in locating buried pipes
and cables, and for archeological work. Ferrous objects can be
located buried up to 15 feet (5 metre). The instrument can be used
above water or below down to 300 feet (100 metre)

New Underwater Pipe and Cable Tracking System
----------------------------------------------------------
The
UTDM is designed to operate mounted to ROVs, towed, or by divers. The
UTDM not only tracks pipes and cables, it can measure the depth of
cover. The transmitter injects a signal into the item to track,
and the receiver tracks only this item, great where there are multiple
pipes or cables. The UTDM saves considerable time and money over
physical proding. The UTDM can also be intergraded with
positioning
systems to provide a true 3D survey of both bottom and pipelines or
cables.
