STEALTH2
ROV
The
Stealth2 Remotely Operated Vehicle is one of the most versatile ROVs on the
market today. Small in size, but definitely not in features and
capabilities. The Shark Marine Stealth ROV maintains the adaptability and options of larger system in a smaller, highly portable size. The Stealth ROV comes plug and play ready for such options as
scanning sonar, manipulator arm, sub-bottom profiler, and total positioning system. These types of options are rarely, if ever found on vehicles of this size. The size and weight of this ROV system allows for operation from even small boats or inflatables. The system is even portable enough to fly
on small aircraft in to remote locations. |

SEA-DRAGON
ROV
The
Sea-Dragon ROV features a modular design for ease of maintenance and
adding of additional equipment. The ROV is powered by 4 - 2HP thrusters,
and has 500 watts of forward and 250 watts of rear lighting. The ROV
can be equipped with multiple cameras for forward, rear, arm, 3D, and zoom
options. The umbilical is of Fibre Optic design allowing for long
cable lengths. The Sea-Dragon concept allows us to take the core
controls and build various ROVs to suit, be it very long cable pipeline or
powerful hydraulic models. |

CUSTOM
ROVs
Our
ROV technologies have been designed specifically to enable custom designs,
sort of a building block process. This allows us to develop a
"custom" ROV without the custom work, keeping the cost
to the customer reasonable. |

Manipulator
Arms
Manipulator
arms are an important option, whether retrieving items or untangling your
own umbilical. Manipulators are
normally described by functions. A single function arm would have an
opening and closing jaw only, a two function would have jaw and wrist,
and three function jaw, wrist and elbow. We have manipulators
that incorporate rope cutters into the jaw design as well as separate rope
cutters. We have also designed special jaws and arms for unique
applications. |

Scanning
sonar Scanning
Sonar is an indispensable asset to any ROV platform. It gives the
operator the ability to see beyond the limits of The
unit to the left is only 8cm x 18cm yet has a range of up to 200 metres,
it has variable frequency from 285kHz to 1.1 MHz and works in sector,
polar, and side-scan mode. |

Positioning
Systems Many
different types of positioning systems are available. These include
Short Base Line (SBL), Long Base Line (LBL), Pinger Based Systems (PBS)
and others. The purpose of a positioning system is to allow the
operator to know where the ROV is. The degree of accuracy required
determines the best type of system. We would be pleased to advise
you on the best suited system. Scanning
sonar can also be use as a positioning system when the ROV is being used
around a structure of some sort. |
