Tether Management

The USB Cable Encoder accurately counts the length of cable payout.  It features a count display as well as buttons to change the count manually. Provided software called ‘Cable Payout’ will display the count on a computer, allow manual changes to the count and log the changes in the count.

This LARS is built on a standard ISO platform allowing it to be easily transported and installed on different vessels. It can be used for towed and rov systems with enough room to mount a 10 foot container behind the winch. The Platform lars is available in hydraulic and electric-hydraulic configurations.
